The New Vibration of Spring
As the hibernation of winter comes to a close my soul yearns to be free. There's a warmth to the air. The flowers are blooming. Colour fills the streets. Keeping with nature, my soul wants to blossom. To put all the lessons learnt through winter into practice. To show it's colour once again. I've discovered that stressed or busy souls need the reassurance of self nurturing rituals. I've started spring by practising three rituals that have worked for me in the past.
1. Journaling helps me to get rid of my mental chatter. Without thinking or critiquing what I write, I literally write as quick as I can. Filling the page with the my mental chatter often paired with an over-active mind. As I do this I feel a release from the business of my thoughts. There is space for clarity and peace to manifest.
2. I am taking some time to sit outside. I prefer in the sun, but that's not for everyone. At the moment I can only spare 10 minutes, but at least half an hour would be ideal. As I sit under our big pine tree I feel my energy lighten. The sun fills me with it's healing rays, and I am happy and clear.
3. Every night before bed I write at least 5 things I am grateful. This makes me focus on all the good things in my life before I go to sleep. I'm at peace, which means it's easier to get a good nights sleep and have comforting dreams.
